ACTUALLY NASA's rover took 9 months to reach mars before negotiating in the well-planned out landing procedure. The 2 year mission has been a success so far and much of the data downloaded such as land stills are mesmorising. I enjoy a good debate!

Space exploration is important to ensure we discover a planet which is habbitable and sustains human life. We will all eventually be travelling around space like we do in our vehicles and such.
