Why did Buffy never recognise Giles as a father? He was in and out but always looked upon her as his daughter despite the 'watcher duties' it's such a disappointment that we never got to see them get close except for hugs. Giles was always there for her when he could be. Her mum died tragically and dad pissed off but them two had a connection.
