I'm not sure about ear gauges, but I'm pretty sure if you just get earrings, you have to start with studs. After awhile, you can move to hoops.

Yeah, have definitely done it. But you really can't do anything about it after the fact, except try to repair any damage that may have been done, and remember it the next time you're getting really horny and thinking about doing something like that again. But it's hard...no pun intended!
