Leaderboard

Heya guys, I am wanting to start skateboarding. I know I'm 17 and should have already started by now but I've never had the time to do it. Anyway, I have been thinking about starting but I don't know where to begin. I had a friend who was going to teach me a few years ago, but I moved to another part of the country so there was no help from there lol. So what I wanna know is what, if any, gear I would need to start (when I have the money to buy a board lol) and also do you think I should (if I do buy the gear and board) should post some pics of me on the board.
